Custom Vanity

I couldn’t pass putting this one in the website. I’ve always liked this little project— trying to get as much punch (and utility) into an otherwise unpromising situation.

A tiny vanity in a tiny bathroom (so small, it’s hard to get back far enough to get the whole thing in the frame). The two tier counter maximizes counter space: custom cast concrete and glass. The cylinder below the sink reiterates the shape of the sink, and is hinged with shelves on the door and behind: English Sycamore veneer with custom, polished aluminum pull . The door to the right is a pull-out with shelves: Honduras mahogany veneer in a “cracked ice” pattern.

All parts (except the glass) fabricated by Scott Wynn Architect.
